Silhouettes of Justice is a collection of poems compiled through the many lines jotted on scraps of paper.
The poems have been categorised into 5 sections – Fruits of Freedom, The Deserts Storms, A Third World, Death to Infidel and They call me virtue.
MANUKA THE POET
A distant light flickered
And disappeared.
As nocturnal solitude
Descended –
Upon extinguished souls
Of women. Plundered
And ransacked
Of a husband, a brother
A son. And yet another …….
Leaving trails of
Skeletons and steel
Enshrined in catacombs
Of memory
